J Vera Interiors is a full-service interior design studio based in Monmouth County, New Jersey that specializes in home renovation projects and design services. Hi there! My name is Maryan, the owner of J Vera Interiors. I live in Central New Jersey with my husband and three young children. The name J Vera is after my only daughter, Julianna Vera. My family is my first love, followed closely by interior design. Prior to interior design, I worked in Education. I started out as an elementary school teacher and worked my way up to becoming supervisor of special education. While I enjoyed working with children, there was still a void inside of me and I wasn’t fulfilled. After taking on a full home renovation project, I found my passion in interior design and started pursuing it professionally.  

I consider my personal design style to be transitional. I like to mix modern elements with some traditional furnishings to keep a room from looking like too much of one particular style. I like to blend interior design styles to create balance, warmth and a relaxed feel in a home. My own home reflects that. Having been through a home remodel myself, I have even more perspective on the client experience.   

What I enjoy most is helping people make their homes a beautiful space to enjoy with their families and build everlasting memories. I aim to design a home that reflects your personal style and fit your personality while respecting the architectural character of the home. As a mom of three young children, I can relate to the needs of today’s modern young families. My number one goal is for you to love your home when your project is complete.
